We are up bright and early for our flight to San Diego, then crossing the border into Baja California (Tecate, Mexico) so we can spend some time at Rancho La Puerta, a health spa/eco-resort. Rancho La Puerta was founded in 1940 by Edmund and Deborah Szekely and quickly became the standard for destination spa vacations that are all about health and fitness. Brent’s been anxious to check the spa out and I’m certainly game to accompany him.
The internet and cell phone connections are kind of iffy, so I may not be able to email or text or blog. Or maybe I’ll be able to, but just take a technology break for a few days! We’ll see...
So we’re off to our first spa adventure!
