Greetings from Boulder!

We've come to Boulder, Colorado for Heather Mitchell's wedding to Adrian Bertarelli. Heather, my oldest neice, has been living in Boulder for a couple of years teaching school. She and Adrian seem like a well matched couple and Boulder seems to be a perfect place for them to reside!

The rehearsal dinner was at the Gold Hill Inn. It's one of the oldest restaurants in Colorado and the site of Heather and Adrian's first date. A six course all organic meal; everything was delicious but the vegetables and rhubarb cobbler were especially good. The Mitchells have pulled off quite a week full of wedding festivities!

This town is definitely a mecca for the fitness crowd! There are bike paths, running trails, and coffee shops everywhere! The University of Colorado at Boulder has a beautiful campus. The city elevation (5400ish) makes Boulder conducive to sports training at high altitude. It's easy to see why people are attracted to life in Boulder; it's a nice mix of community. The yuppies and the granola crowd and everything in between coexist quite happily in a gorgeous setting! We'll have plenty of fun exploring to keep us busy the next few days. Paige thinks this might be a great place to spend a summer working and playing....living the life!
